Session Sets
  • The ability to have certain sessions opened at the same time. Double clicking a session set would open all sessions associated with it.

    • Session Set 1 - Server A, Server B, Server C
    • Session Set 2 - Server D, Server E, Server F

  • I second this request -- one of the things I like about PuttyCM is that I can have folders of connections. This allows me to organize my connections by different criteria, and open a set of connections at the same time.

For example, I'd like to be able to organize my connections like this:
    .
    |-- by OS
    |   |-- HP-UX
    |   |   |-- prodsvr1
    |   |   `-- testsvr1
    |   |-- Linux
    |   |   |-- devsvr1
    |   |   `-- testsvr3
    |   `-- Solaris
    |       |-- prodsvr2
    |       `-- testsvr2
    `-- by Phase
        |-- Dev
        |   `-- devsvr1
        |-- Prod
        |   |-- prodsvr1
        |   `-- prodsvr2
        `-- Test
            |-- testsvr1
            |-- testsvr2
            `-- testsvr3

  • I would like to third this! The project is coming along wonderfully. Keep up the great work! I am already passing the word around. I think this feature is all that remains between SuperPutty and PuttyCM. Can't wait to see what else comes along with future progress.

    Thanks. -Jason

  • This is completed.  I'm in the process of merging my code with the code from this project.  By right-clicking on a folder, you can connect to all sessions underneath it.
  • Did this make it into 1.0.3?  I am new to SupperPutty but did not see a way to create a "Set"
  • @kfullerton, no, this didn't make it in. Jhane never replied nor was there ever a commit from him on github. That issue is still open.
  • Thanks for the update @phendryx
  • any update on this?  this would be great to have.
